how do i reinstall skype? in 16.04 I used sudo apt-get remove skype then sudo apt-get purge skype then sudo apt-get install skype
D0pamine: use the -reinstall flag
when purging the stuff

so like `sudo apt-get remove --purge skype`, then `sudo apt-get install skype -reinstall`

ahhh my /boot is full after I tried to install ubuntu on a pen drive, I removed all the files in /boot then did the standard installation which worked, but now im missing some files, i cant get grub to boot either

teward, I think so i removed all the old kernels to make space
then ran the standard installation which worked but left my /boot full
D0pamine: yeah that's the issue. You don't "remove all the files in /boot"
D0pamine: if it's not a live USB stick, your system is probably corrupt at this point and you need to reinstall or fix it
mhm well i figured that since i did a standard installation it would sort that out for me
